The property is zoned A-1, Agriculture and is not subject to AFD or Land Use tax program restrictions. The Diascund Creek Reservoir is about 1100 acres in water impoundment and is owned to the 30' contour line by The City of Newport News. Restrictions within the City buffer land along the water's edge include no building of permanent structures, no hunting on City land, electric boat motors only, and no swimming.
